After being compelled to drop out of school in Class VII due to financial difficulties, Rohit continued his education independently through the Bihar School Examination Board. His unyielding passion for learning led him to clear the CA Foundation exam and rank among the top 1,000 in the ICAI Commerce Wizard competition, along with winning several science and math Olympiads.
At just 14, he launched his first startup, Foodcubo, a foodtech venture that served over 10,000 customers before Rohit successfully exited in 2018. Choosing to forgo traditional college education, he immersed himself in open learning, taught himself coding, and began building software and digital solutions for clients across industries. His practical, hands-on approach enabled him to co-found multiple ventures and mentor early-stage startups.
Rohit is also a widely recognized thought leader online, with over 10,000+ connections on LinkedIn, 25,000+ followers on Quora, and millions of views on his content — where he shares actionable insights and real-world advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.
As the founder of Maytree School of Entrepreneurship, Rohit has empowered over 10,000 first-time entrepreneurs and collaborated with multiple state governments to develop grassroots startup ecosystems. His work has earned him invitations as a speaker at prestigious institutions like IIM Calcutta, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, BITS Pilani, and SRCC, where he continues to inspire the next generation of changemakers.

About Maytree School of Entrepreneurship
Founded in early 2019, Maytree School of Entrepreneurship began as an online platform dedicated to nurturing first-time entrepreneurs with practical, action-driven learning. Since its inception, Maytree has educated over 5,000 aspiring entrepreneurs and played a crucial role in launching 100+ youth-led startups across India.
By 2023, Maytree extended its mission by partnering with various state governments to promote grassroots entrepreneurship and startup development in underserved regions. The organization has led flagship Entrepreneurship Accelerator Programs in collaboration with district administrations across states including Chhattisgarh (Raipur, Dantewada, Jashpur, Durg, Surajpur, Dhamtari), Meghalaya (Ri-Bhoi, East Jaintia Hills), Bihar (Gaya, Aurangabad), Odisha (Bhubaneswar), and Jharkhand (Ranchi, Jamshedpur).
With support from government bodies, Maytree has trained over 10,000 first-time entrepreneurs through capacity-building bootcamps, mentorship programs, and startup challenges. It also operates the Innov8 500-Seater Incubation Center in Raipur, a landmark public-private initiative developed in partnership with the Raipur District Administration.
