Earthful Raises Rs 26 Crore to Transform Women’s Health
Earthful, the plant-based nutrition startup that stole the spotlight on Shark Tank India, has raised Rs 26 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures and V3 Ventures, with Atrium Angels also joining in.
The startup plans to use this funding to expand deeper into Bharat, bringing personalized, plant-based nutrition to women in tier-2 and tier-3 cities across India.
Founded by IIT Sisters, Backed by Innovation
Earthful was founded in 2020 by IIT alumni sisters Veda Gogineni and Sudha Gogineni, with a mission to make nutrition simple, natural, and effective. The startup claims to be India’s first company to create multivitamins specifically for menopausal women, combining vitamins, minerals, and herbs in one formula.
Why This Matters
Menopause is often overlooked in women’s health, leaving many facing fatigue, nutritional gaps, and hormonal changes. Earthful aims to fill this critical gap, empowering women with tailored solutions that are easy to use and backed by science.
Plant-Based and Clean-Label: A Winning Formula
Earthful’s products are clean-label and plant-based, catering to the growing demand for natural and sustainable nutrition options in India. By removing complexity from supplements, the startup is making nutrition less intimidating and more accessible for women across the country.
Scaling Across Bharat
With the new investment, Earthful plans to:
-
Expand into smaller cities beyond the metros
-
Launch awareness campaigns to educate women about nutrition
-
Develop new products targeting women’s health
Founder Veda Gogineni said, “We want to grow deeper into Bharat, making our plant-based solutions available to more women across India.”
Shark Tank India Boost
Being featured on Shark Tank India gave Earthful credibility and visibility, helping it attract investors and customers alike. The platform highlighted the startup’s unique focus on women’s health and nutrition, making it a standout in India’s wellness sector.
The Future of Women’s Nutrition
With Rs 26 crore in funding and a clear vision, Earthful is poised to redefine how Indian women approach nutrition, especially during menopause. Its combination of plant-based ingredients, scientific customization, and focus on underserved regions positions it as a game-changer in the wellness space.
