Nandita Sinha, the chief executive officer of Myntra, is set to step down from her role in the coming weeks, according to a report by Moneycontrol.
Sinha has been with the Flipkart Group, owned by Walmart, since 2013 and took over as Myntra’s CEO in 2022.
Possible Successor: Sharon Pais
Sources indicate that Sharon Pais, who currently heads Flipkart Fashion and was previously Myntra’s chief business officer, is the leading candidate to take over the top role.
Pais moved to the business unit head role for Flipkart Fashion in November 2025, demonstrating her extensive experience in managing fashion e-commerce operations within the Flipkart ecosystem.
A Myntra spokesperson told Entrackr, “We don’t comment on market speculation,” leaving the final decision unconfirmed.
Timing Amid Strong Performance
The leadership change comes as Myntra reported remarkable financial growth:
- Profit surged 18X, from Rs 30 crore in FY24 to Rs 548 crore in FY25
- Revenue increased 18%, reaching Rs 6,042.7 crore in FY25
This suggests that the company is undergoing a strategic leadership transition during a period of strong performance rather than a crisis.
Why This Matters
- Stability Amid Change: The potential transition to Sharon Pais signals continuity within Flipkart Fashion.
- Strategic Leadership: With a track record in fashion e-commerce, Pais could continue driving Myntra’s growth trajectory.
- Market Impact: Myntra remains a dominant player in Indian fashion e-commerce, and leadership decisions are closely watched by investors and industry observers.
Outlook for Myntra
Myntra’s performance highlights the strength of its business model and strategic positioning in the fashion e-commerce sector. The company’s ability to sustain growth while undergoing leadership change reflects operational resilience.
As the executive transition unfolds, industry watchers will closely monitor how Myntra maintains its growth momentum and market leadership.
