Delhi NCR-based healthy snacking brand Wonderland Foods has raised Rs 140 crore in its latest funding round led by Asha Ventures and BII. The startup plans to use the funds to expand its distribution network, launch new products, and create over 1,000 jobs, primarily for women.
Wonderland Foods has made its mark in the growing healthy snacking segment, selling products across modern retail chains and top e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and Zepto. The startup currently employs nearly 1,000 workers in its production facilities, most of whom are women.
The fresh capital will drive the next phase of growth, including the launch of innovative and value-added products and the establishment of a green processing facility in Greater Noida. This initiative, in partnership with the Government of Uttar Pradesh, will create employment opportunities for over 1,000 women and further strengthen India’s food processing ecosystem.
Rakesh Gupta, founder, and Anubhav Gupta, managing director, said that quality and trust are the foundation of a strong consumer brand. They added that this funding is a pivotal moment for Wonderland Foods to scale its distribution, introduce new products, and take the next big step in its growth journey.
The investment highlights the confidence of Asha Ventures and BII in India’s health-conscious consumer market. Analysts note that brands focusing on nutritious snacks are likely to see significant growth as urban consumers increasingly shift toward healthier eating habits.
The green processing facility will not only expand production capabilities but also support women empowerment and regional economic development. This initiative positions Wonderland Foods to scale nationwide, strengthen its supply chain, and reach millions of health-conscious consumers. By focusing on innovation, sustainability, and social impact, the startup aims to set a benchmark for India’s snacking industry.
This funding round marks a major milestone for Wonderland Foods as it continues to grow its presence in India and contribute to the development of the country’s food processing and snack manufacturing sector.
