Delhivery Crosses ₹3,000 Crore Revenue Milestone In Q2

Logistics company Delhivery has crossed ₹3,000 crore in quarterly revenue for the first time, reporting revenue from operations of ₹3,066.4 crore in the second quarter of FY27. The performance marks a 19.8% year-on-year increase and a 4.6% rise over the previous quarter.

The Gurugram-based company also returned to profitability, reporting a consolidated net profit of ₹40.6 crore for the quarter ended September 2026, compared with a net loss of ₹50.5 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Sequentially, profit increased 27.4% from ₹31.9 crore in the June quarter.

Profitability improves alongside revenue growth

Delhivery’s operating revenue grew faster than its overall expenses during the quarter. Total expenses increased 14.2% year-on-year to ₹3,093 crore, compared with ₹2,708.1 crore a year earlier.

Freight, handling and servicing costs remained the largest expense category, rising 19.1% to ₹2,195.1 crore.

The company reported EBITDA of ₹205 crore, more than three times the ₹68 crore recorded in Q2 FY26. Its EBITDA margin improved to 6.7% from 2.7% a year earlier.

Adjusted EBITDA stood at ₹123 crore, up 48% year-on-year, with an adjusted margin of 4%.

Delhivery ended the quarter with a cash balance of ₹4,676 crore.

Express parcel and freight volumes grow

The company’s express parcel business handled 32.5 crore shipments during the quarter, representing 32.1% year-on-year growth. Revenue from this segment increased 21.7% to ₹1,961 crore.

Its part truckload (PTL) business recorded freight volumes of 5.45 lakh metric tonnes, up 14.2% year-on-year. Revenue from the segment rose 23.1% to ₹672 crore.

Delhivery said realisations in both Express Parcel and PTL improved compared with the June quarter. The increase was supported by fuel-linked price revisions, higher minimum wages in several states, customer repricing and changes in shipment mix.

The company also reported 59,704 active customers, compared with 48,442 a year earlier.

New businesses expand

Delhivery is also scaling its newer business segments.

Its intra-city logistics platform, Delhivery Local, is operational in eight cities, including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Pune and Chennai. The company plans to enter two additional cities by Q4 FY27.

The platform’s annualised revenue run rate has increased from approximately ₹100 crore at the end of Q1 FY27 to around ₹200 crore. Delhivery has raised its FY27 target to approximately ₹280 crore.

Its international business, which operates across markets including the US, UK and China, recorded an annualised revenue run rate of around ₹150 crore and turned profitable at the service EBITDA level, according to the company.

Investing in AI and robotics

Technology remains another focus area. Delhivery said its in-house robotics division has started producing customised autonomous vehicles for movement within its facilities.

The company also plans to deploy 100 self-developed autonomous pallet transportation vehicles by Q4 FY27. It has initiated a research programme with IIT Delhi focused on mapping and fleet optimisation.

Delhivery said its investments in artificial intelligence have helped improve sales productivity, customer onboarding, claims resolution and fraud detection.

With record quarterly revenue, improved margins and a return to profitability, the company enters the second half of FY27 with growth across its core logistics operations and newer business segments.
