COOX, a dynamic platform for booking home services, has successfully raised $125,000 in a Seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, a Gurugram-based angel investment firm. This funding will enable COOX to expand its presence, aiming to double its footprint to 40 cities while enhancing marketing efforts and integrating AI to streamline operations.
A Diverse Range of Offerings
Founded in 2019, COOX specializes in providing a variety of home services, including professional chefs, domestic cooks, bartenders, waiters, cleaners, appliance rentals, crockery rentals, and even live entertainment for events such as house parties and weddings. The Growing Food Services Market
The Indian food services market is projected to reach $125 billion by 2030, with the catering segment valued at approximately ₹20,000 crores and growing at an annual rate of 15%. However, an astonishing 97% of this market remains unorganized, primarily occupied by local operators who have yet to embrace technology.
Vinay Bansal, Founder & CEO of Inflection Point Ventures, stated, “Managing daily responsibilities or hosting events often requires external help for smooth execution. COOX not only offers convenience but also supports the gig economy by creating job opportunities in hospitality. By leveraging technology, COOX modernizes home services, allowing hosts to enjoy their events as much as their guests. This aligns perfectly with IPV’s commitment to supporting tech-driven solutions that create tangible impacts.”
