Indian EV Startup ACS Energy Raises Rs 1.1 Crore — Could Transform EV Charging Forever

In a bold move for India’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, ACS Energy, a homegrown EV charging startup, has raised Rs 1.1 crore (around $132K) in a pre-seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The startup’s innovative approach to EV charging is already turning heads, and this fresh funding could take it to the next level.

The Startup Revolutionizing EV Charging

Founded in 2022 by Jash Sheth and Mihir Bhanushali, ACS Energy is not your typical EV charging company. It combines advanced hardware with intelligent software to make EV charging faster, smarter, and more accessible for users.

Their chargers support two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers, and integrate seamlessly with the ACS Pay system. Using UPI-enabled transactions, users can pay instantly, removing the hassle of multiple payment platforms and creating a smoother charging experience.

Where the Funding Will Go

ACS Energy plans to deploy 5,000 UPI-enabled EV charging stations across Maharashtra and Gujarat. But the startup isn’t stopping there. They also aim to develop AI-driven energy management systems for high-rise buildings, allowing residents and businesses to optimize power consumption and reduce costs.

This dual focus on infrastructure and smart technology positions ACS Energy as a potential game-changer in India’s growing EV market.

Why Investors Are Excited

Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) and other backers see huge potential in ACS Energy. India’s EV market is expanding rapidly, and reliable charging infrastructure remains a bottleneck. By offering UPI-enabled, multi-vehicle chargers integrated with intelligent energy management systems, ACS Energy is solving a critical problem.

The pre-seed funding is expected to accelerate deployment, strengthen technology, and expand the company’s reach in two of India’s most crucial EV markets.

A Startup with a Vision

The founders of ACS Energy are clear about their mission: make EV charging as easy and accessible as fueling a petrol vehicle. By combining digital payments, AI technology, and scalable charging infrastructure, they aim to remove barriers for EV adoption across India.

With 5,000 charging stations planned, ACS Energy could redefine the way Indian cities power their EVs, helping accelerate the country’s transition to clean energy.

The Future of EV Charging in India

As India pushes toward electric mobility, startups like ACS Energy are leading the charge. Their blend of hardware, software, and digital payment integration offers a glimpse into the future of EV charging — faster, smarter, and more convenient.

Investors and industry experts will be watching closely to see if ACS Energy can turn its pre-seed funding into a nationwide network of intelligent EV chargers. If successful, it could become one of the most influential startups in India’s green energy landscape.
