This Diamond Startup Just Exploded in Value—You Won’t Believe How Much It’s Worth Now

Aukera Goes from Sparkle to Supernova: D2C Diamond Brand Bags $15M, Valuation Jumps 4.5X

Aukera, the lab-grown diamond jewellery startup, is having its biggest glow-up yet.
In a jaw-dropping leap, the brand has raised $15 million in Series B funding, and its valuation has skyrocketed over 4.5X in just one year.

What was once a rising D2C player is now shining at a massive ₹604 crore (approx. $71 million) valuation—up from just ₹124 crore last August.
And investors are lining up to get a piece of the sparkle.

Big Money, Bigger Backers

The $15 million Series B round was led by Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India), with strong follow-up support from existing investors like:

  • Fireside Ventures
  • Sparrow Capital
  • Prath Ventures
  • Alteria Capital

Aukera raised this capital by issuing 988,129 Series B preference shares at ₹1,250.3 per share—pulling in ₹124 crore from its latest round, according to filings reviewed by Entrackr.

Here’s Where the Money Came From

  • Peak XV Partners: ₹90.6 crore
  • Fireside Ventures: ₹23.7 crore
  • Rest: Sparrow, Prath, and Alteria

And the result? One of the biggest valuation leaps in India’s D2C jewellery space in recent times.

Who Owns What Now?

According to data from TheKredible, here’s the updated ownership pie:

  • Fireside Ventures: 19.1%
  • Peak XV Partners: 15%
  • Founders Lisa Mukhedkar & Kumar Saurabh: 24.1% each

Despite the mega funding, founders still hold nearly 50% control—which says a lot about their long-term vision.

So What’s Aukera, Really?

Aukera isn’t just selling jewellery. They’re redefining luxury for the next-gen buyer. With lab-grown diamonds, they deliver high-end sparkle without the guilt, tapping into a fast-growing market of consumers who want:

  • Sustainability
  • Style
  • Affordability
  • Transparency

And they’re doing it with a direct-to-consumer model that cuts out the middlemen and brings fine jewellery straight to your fingertips.

From ₹124 Cr to ₹604 Cr in One Year—How Did That Happen?

Aukera raised $3.2 million in August 2024. Fast forward to now? It’s grown over 4.5X in value, thanks to booming demand, sleek branding, and a product that’s clearly hitting the right notes with Indian shoppers.

This isn’t just a good funding round—it’s a market validation moment.

What’s Next for the Brand?

With fresh funds in the bank, expect Aukera to:

  • Scale fast
  • Expand product lines
  • Double down on marketing and D2C channels
  • Possibly go global

In a space where traditional jewellers are still catching up, Aukera is sprinting ahead—tech-savvy, sustainable, and investor-approved.
